1. Why did you join ABSA?
As a freshman looking to find a community, I genuinely believe I found an amazing community within ABSA. Originally, I joined this organization for a leadership position, but I realized that ABSA offers so much more - a genuine community, an AMAZING alumni network, and a place to develop hard and soft skills.
2. What is your favorite ABSA memory?
I’m stuck between two. I loved planning out an interactive game activity for a GM during the fall semester. It felt amazing seeing the work and effort being actively appreciated by over 100 members. I also really loved the era in the spring semester where I would play 2 IM Basketball games, and then an IM volleyball game on the same day. Definitely was a grind, but boy was it fun. We’ll comeback next year for sure.
3. If you could give one piece of advice to your freshman self, what would it be?
It’s okay if something doesn’t go your way - with every failure comes a lesson. Everything happens for a reason, and there’s so many avenues to success.
4. What is your favorite food/ favorite place to eat in Austin?
I’m a simple man, I like Clay Pit. Tumble 22 is so good too.
5. Name the top five things on your bucket list
1. Get one of my music compositions in a movie soundtrack
2. Become a god at volleyball
3. Become an amazing chef
4. Visit San Fransisco 😳
5. Learn how to juggle
6. What fictional world or place would you like to visit?
I’m working at the park in Regular Show
