1. Why did you join ABSA?

I joined ABSA because I wanted to join a community that had professional development opportunities while also celebrating my culture. When I went to Gone to Business this org really stood out to me and it’s been one of the best orgs I ever could’ve been a part of. 

2. What is your favorite ABSA memory?

My favorite memory has to be Houston CFT. It was a chance for all of us to travel to a different city and visit a big 4 company. We did so many things and got extremely close to one another in such a short amount of time. It was also the first event I helped plan as a director and it was a great chance to see the behind the scenes of planning such an event. 

3. If you could give one piece of advice to your freshman self, what would it be?

Although it may be hard it’s extremely important to put yourself out there and get out of your comfort zone. You don’t want to waste a single part of your college experience. 

4. What is your favorite food/ favorite place to eat in Austin?

I can’t choose one so my top favs are Maru Sushi, Uchiko, Ramen Tastuya, and Terry Blacks so far.
