1. Why did you join ABSA?

I discovered ABSA on HornsLink when applying to UT and decided to check out GM 0. I was hooked almost immediately. I loved the fun and supportive vibes of the org along with the many opportunities for professional development.

2. What is your favorite ABSA memory?

It's really hard to pick a favorite memory, but for now I'll go with the Trail of Lights Minions Event. This was one of the smaller Minions Fam events, but was fun regardless. I should have been studying for a final I had the next day, but I decided to come to this event instead. I met and made friends with seniors, and I loved the vibes of Zilker Park decorated.

3. If you could give one piece of advice to your freshman self, what would it be?

Nothing is that serious. I've learned that if something doesn't go how I want it to, I need to just pivot and move on. There's no need to beat myself over or get hung up on something. It's always more important to prioritize health and happiness over everything.

4. What is your favorite food/ favorite place to eat in Austin?

Pizza Press no question. I'm not that much of a pizza person usually but I think I could eat here every day and not get tired of it. The USA Halal food truck is pretty good too shoutout to my boi Ali.

5. Name the top five things on your bucket list

1. Go to a big music festival like Rolling Loud or Coachella

2. Meet Drake, The Weeknd, A$AP Rocky, Kendrick Lamar, and/or more

3. Be able to freestyle well

4. Win IM Volleyball (any bracket at this point lol)

5. Travel around Europe and Asia

6. What fictional world or place would you like to visit?

The world of Pokemon or maybe Avatar the Last Airbender
